The Greene & Schultz Hoosier Half Marathon is a challenging course where participants will find 13.1 miles of beautiful rolling hills, and also be rewarded with amazing views of IU’s scenic campus and Bloomington’s iconic downtown. Challenging, beautiful, and rewarding – it’s the toughest race you’ll ever love!
Highlights along the way include IU Assembly Hall and Memorial Stadium, downtown Bloomington’s Courthouse square, famed Kirkwood Avenue, IU Sample Gates, Indiana Memorial Union, the IU Arboretum, countless Greek houses, and nearby downtown neighborhoods featuring the Monroe County YMCA, Bloomington High School South, and Bryan Park.
Aid stations are located at every even mile mark along both the Half Marathon and 5K courses. Aid stations will provide water and Powerade. In addition, Medical Aid stations and portable toilets are distributed throughout the course. Click on the detailed Participant Map below for all locations.
The Hoosier Half Marathon and 5K is certified by the INTIMECO Productions event management company.
The courses are NOT USATF certified or a qualifier for any other race.
